2024-2025 OFFICER TEAM

jACOB CARLIN (President)

Hey CP DECA! I am Jacob Carlin, and I am honored to serve as your Chapter President this year! I have been a DECA member since my freshman year and competed in Sports and Entertainment Operations Research each year. This year, we will be adding an array of new competition materials, fresh community outreach events, and fun-filled meetings to ensure that each CP DECA member can “Be The One” on their path to DECA Glass in Orlando! DECA can be stressful, so please reach out to me on Remind or visit the School Store any day this school year with any questions!

Praseedha MaddipaTla (VP OF competition - ROLEPLAY)

Hi guys! My name is Praseedha Maddipatla and I will be serving as your VP of competition for roleplay this year. This will be my fourth year as a DECA competitor, and I have competed in both the PBM and HRM events. I hope to use my experience as a two time ICDC finalist and first place winner to guide our members in their journey to “Be The One”. My main goal this year will be to help make the competition preparation process become more accessible to our roleplayers by breaking down strategies, hosting workshops, providing more opportunities for feedback, and updating testing resources. Feel free to contact me at any time if you have any questions or would like any help with your competition prep. Good luck to all of our competitors in this upcoming year!

ROHIT Pillutla (VP OF competition - WRITTEN)

Hey everyone! My name is Rohit Pillutla, and I’m super excited to serve as your VP of Competition for Written Events. I’ve been in DECA since my freshman year, competing in entrepreneurship series events like EIB and IBP. From exploring downtown Atlanta in 2022 to cheering on our chapter in Anaheim this past April, I’ve had an amazing time traveling and competing over the past three years.

This year, I’ll be responsible for helping our members craft their best possible papers and presentations. Feel free to reach out with any questions regarding content, revisions, and formatting. I can’t wait to see you guys “Be the One” in Orlando!

sandul manage (VP of MEMBERSHIP)

Hey guys! I’m Sandul Manage, and I’m excited to serve as your VP of membership for the 2024-2025 school year. DECA has a special place in my heart and I hope to spread this passion to students, teachers, and the greater community. As the head of promotion, I will be managing recruitment, maintaining a relationship with the community, and registering members for different events. As for my experience with DECA, I had the opportunity to compete at the international level in Orlando and Anaheim, allowing me to gain valuable insight from both judges and other competitors. I will forever remember the memories I shared with my fellow DECA members at Universal and Disney, and I hope to create even more of them with as many College Park DECA members in Orlando this year. As always, if you need any assistance or tips, please feel free to contact me! #BeTheOne!

ANDREW HAYNES (VP of PROMOTION)

Hi everyone! My name is Andrew Haynes and I will be serving as your VP of Promotion this year! I’m an incoming junior and have been a member of DECA since freshmen year, participating in IMCE every year. It’s been an amazing two years learning and growing alongside others, and I’m super excited for the upcoming year as well.  This year, I’ll be responsible for ensuring that all the information you need gets to you in a timely and efficient manner. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me so that I can help. Let’s “Be the One” this year!

VIBHAN EMMI (VP of community service)

Hello Members! My name is Vibhan Emmi and this year, I will be serving as your VP of Community Service! I am currently a rising junior and have taken part in DECA since my freshman year, participating in PMSP and PMCA events. I would say that DECA is definitely one of my favorite clubs, as I am not only able to build my professional skillset in business, but also travel across the U.S. for competition. My primary role this year is to bring in a multitude of community service events for members to attend and enjoy. This will not only give you potential hours to letter, cord, and more, but also allows you to give back to your community. Aside from that, I would also love to give assistance to anyone, wether that be feedback, campaign support, or tips, so feel free to reach out. I am so grateful to serve you all and can’t wait to see everything you guys accomplish this year!
